Sales & Marketing Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
 

Sales Operating Systems, measurement & incentives
  • Maximize efficiency by optimizing the sales platform business rules and configurations
  • Provide management reporting to ensure productivity and sales efficiencies are visible to management & employees
  • Support internal and external telesales staff through training and first line support on internal sales tools
  • Work with management to setup and execute on sales campaigns & renewal initiatives using Homeaway internal technology platforms
  • Manage new leads importing, data scrubbing, and assignment rules
  • Work with the global technology teams on future requirements, sales process optimization

    Project Management/Execution
  • Proven ability to take complex business analyses and projects from concept to completion, often requiring interaction with multiple departments
  • Effectively prioritize requests in accordance with goals of the US businesses
  • Ability to manage and communicate timelines, goals and key milestones of critical sales and marketing projects

    Reporting and Analytics
  • Produce weekly standard sales and marketing operational reporting.
  • Support senior US team with analysis needed to make important decisions.
  • Use problem solving and creativity to apply appropriate metrics in the creation of compelling and thorough analyses
  • Identify KPIs for US businesses and share those findings with other teams globally to help promote best practices company-wide.

    Candidate Profile
  • 4-6 years of sales and/or marketing experience leaning towards analytics/operations
  • Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the “why” of various results and a desire to grow responsibility and become a domain expert and strategic thought leader
  • Able to work with different business units and teams to gather complete datasets and communicate findings and practices company-wide.
  • Able to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and raising them to management, as well as offering potential solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with modeling complex business scenarios strongly preferred.
  • Strong Technical aptitude using third party tools (Salesforce, Automated Dialer solutions)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills, SQL knowledge a plus
