We’re growing here at Citygrid and are looking for several Senior Java Engineers to join our team in West Hollywood.

- Sr. Java Software Engineer (Advertising) – Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, REST and SOAP web services
- Sr. Java Software Engineer (Mobile) – Java, Spring, Hibernate, Native Android SDK, OOD and OOP
- Sr. Java Software Engineer (Accounting Systems) – J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSP and Oracle Financials
- UI Front End Java Developer – AJAX, CSS, XML, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript/JAWR
- Sr. Java Software Engineer (LEAD) – Agile SCRUM, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, REST and SOAP web services

Responsibilities:
- The positions will require previous experience in developing public-facing web applications:
- Partner directly with product managers, other software engineers, architects and QA to develop, implement and maintain advertising applications
- Developing web applications with J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, and JSP
- Using IDE tools to support parallel development
- Implement unit tests with all implementation
- Familiar with data modeling and object oriented design and programming
- Identify and/or evaluate emerging technologies which would enhance our suite of products
- Interface with 3rd party API
- Work in cross-functional Scrum teams with an exciting weekly and daily release process
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of web application programming architectures, including 3-tier model and the working of HTTP, cookies, etc.
- Strong experience in Java (1.6) environments that heavily utilize open source technologies
- Experience with complex dependency environments that utilize Maven is desirable
- Proven ability to implement front-end with HTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services in java technologies (i.e. JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Spring-WS, etc.)
- Knowledge and practical knowledge of XML and SQL
- Hands-on experience on Oracle databases
- Hands-on experience with Tomcat Web servers and CM tools like CVS and SVN
