Overview:
We're looking for an energetic, creative and self-driven person to turn our new customers into Kickboard experts.  In this role, you will combine tech-savvy with an appreciation for and understanding of the day-to-day realities of schools to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation of Kickboard for each of our customers. Ideally, you have worked as a consultant or other similar role before, and possess strong speaking and presentation skills.  This role is focused on making sure that new and existing customers have an outstanding experience adopting Kickboard for their schools.  



Responsibilities:
Implementation Specialists take the lead in ensuring our customers are prepared to use Kickboard efficiently right out of the gate by setting up schools’ accounts and training them on how to use their own customized Kickboard.  This position represents a tremendous opportunity to win the hearts and minds of educators and play a real part in revolutionizing the way teachers measure their impact in the classroom.
Specifically, day-to-day activities would involve:


  • Design and lead training workshops for school customers, including development of training materials.  This may involve traveling on-site to schools around the country
  • Design and maintain library of high-quality, engaging training materials: video tutorials, quick start guides, FAQ pages, etc.
  • Configure new Kickboard accounts to ensure a successful onboarding process
  • Share customer feedback with supervisor and be the user’s “voice' when providing key insights to the rest of the team
  • Ensure customers always have a positive interaction with our site and staff so that they will be references and sources of word of mouth marketing and referrals

Qualities/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:


  • At least one year of progressive work experience in customer relations, customer service, corporate training or educational products preferably in entrepreneurial, start-up and/or high growth organization
  • Ability to travel on-site to schools across the country from June through September
  • A strong interest or prior experience in K-12 education
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial team environment that is fast-paced, driven, and constantly evolving
  • Demonstrated commitment to and proven track record of providing exceptional customer service while exceeding customer expectations
  • Takes initiative, skilled at multi-tasking and juggling several priorities at once
  • Outstanding oral and written communication, presentation and relationship-building skills; enjoys public speaking
  • Exceptional problem-solving and dispute resolution skills
  • Strong PC and Mac skills, with proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, web browsers and web 2.0 applications
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, and other Software-as-a-Service is a plus
  • Fluent verbal and written use of the English language is a requirement
