As Senior WebDeveloper, the ideal candidate must be able to build, and test marketing-driven Web applications within tight timeframes, using a variety of technologies, and for a multitude of clients. In most instances, this will include creating back-end components with both HTML and Flash-based front-ends.
 
This position also requires a critical thinker with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain existing sites and applications while developing new programs and applications, while overseeing employees, freelancers and overseas staff developers.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 5-7 years overall web development experience
  • 1-2 years leading a project team in the development of consumer web applications and promotion
  • Experience managing multiple projects and timelines collaborating with Creative, Project Management and Account Management staff
  • Ability to create effective work estimates
  • Ability to cut assets to spec using Adobe Photoshop and create exact, cross platform HTML/CSS based on designs
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design as it relates to web based software development.
  • Ability to use Web services, including XML, SOAP, and AJAX.
  • Expert working knowledge of Web technologies, including HTML (HTML5 a plus), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and ASP.NET/C#. Knowledge of NHibernate is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IIS and Windows Servers, managing large scale deployments, including configuration management
  • Ability to create, modify and manage relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server. MySQL experience is a plus.
  • Visual Studio 2008/10, MS SQL Server 2005/8, SVN, .NET Framework 4, Web Services
  • Desire to research new third-party / Web / mobile technologies and trends with the ability to recommend new technologies that could fulfill the needs of future programs.
  • Experience in the marketing industry and working for an interactive agency a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and to manage and track your work is vital.
  • Ability to follow team Best Practices for design and development is important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Desire to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment to ensure that applications meet or exceed specifications in a scalable and secure environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • BS in Computer Science or related Engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with iOS, Adobe AIR, Flash and mobile web development a huge plus
Expertise with the web-based architectures, strong object oriented analysis and design skills are expected, as are strong SQL coding skills. Competency in Windows OS server environment is required. Must be committed to thorough unit-testing and integration testing. Commitment to documenting both design and code is sought. Strong written and verbal communications skills a must.
