Salesforce Administrator

Position Summary:

This position will become an integral member of the existing Business Analytics team responsible for managing Specific Media’s CRM database system (Salesforce.com) and supporting the company’s global sales team (~150 people). Specifically, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for performing system administration, configuration, and customization. In addition, this position will be responsible for designing/maintaining reports for senior management and implementing system best practices. This is a hands-on, analytical role in a fast-paced environment requiring the ideal candidate to perform effectively as an individual and as part of a team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the user community on the system (e.g. set up user profiles, security roles and views)
  • Create custom objects, page layouts and reports, and customize and maintain dashboards for the global sales and marketing teams
  • Modify and build reports for senior management and the global sales team
  • Data validation/reconciliation – regularly audit and validate data for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist in the development and implementation of functional designs and features of SFDC and related systems
  • Assist user community in training/learning of functionality through creating training materials
  • Provide help desk support to all users
  • Assist Finance & Sales with ad-hoc reporting and schedules via SFDC and MS Excel

 Education and/or Experience:

  • 2-4 years Salesforce.com administration
  • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
