As our Product/Research Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Partner with Strategy and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities

  • Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions

  • Identifying client objectives and mapping suitable analytics solutions, ensuring that all required performance data can be reliably tracked and reported. This may involve proposing technical solutions outside of pure analytics, e.g. working with social media or paid search platform APIs

  • Research and understand all facets of our clients’ businesses and provide insights that can be created into measurable analytics.

  • Contribute to the building and maintaining of reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products

  • Identify market trends, identify product vulnerabilities, and recommend strategy adjustments based on market trends and patterns.

  • Gather requirements, organize sources, and support product launches

  • Providing technical assistance to data analysts to produce marketing dashboards via various APIs (e.g. Google Analytics)

  • Delivering analytics audit reports to clients and presenting findings internally or externally

  • Assisting in educating clients on the importance of online measurement & providing best practice guidance for technical aspects of analytics

As our Product/Research Analyst, you will possess the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • 2-5 years experience doing product analysis preferably for a technology company

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Business or other technical field. Advanced degrees preferred but not required

  • Familiarity with analytical packages such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Kiss Metrics or Geckoboard

  • Understanding of or the passion to learn about technical aspects of the web, conversion funnels, etc.

  • Ability to initiate and drive analytical dashboard implementations to completion with minimal guidance

  • The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner

  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis
