Senior Account Manager. Research the economics and interests of potential advertising clients at the agencies covered by the sales representatives. Utilize understanding of the clients’ revenues, customer demographics, and other information to help make a more relevant business pitch. Research data from advertising verticals and their typical campaign performance (cost per click, cost per video view, etc.) for incorporation to proposals and pitches. Conduct analyses of display ad campaign performance including data analysis around click-throughs, conversions, cost per activities, return on ad spend, top performing key words, etc. and use the data to make recommendations on ways to improve subsequent campaigns for clients. Conduct analyses of the revenue, margin, and profitability surrounding display advertising campaigns run on a CPM, CPC, or CPA basis or relevant metrics. Manage reporting and analytics for advertisers. Use a variety of tools (inhouse as well as external – Excel, keyword graphs, Comscore, Audience-segment builder and Media influencer data) to recommend the right mix of solutions and optimization strategies Support the sales team by responding to requests from top advertising. Work with other members of the ShareThis team (e.g. marketing for custom mocks, business intelligence team for any extra data) to obtain any missing information needed to complete the strategies. Proactively respond to client follow up questions by getting the required information from the engineering team or ad operations team to answer the client's questions. Launch custom ShareThis rich media campaigns. Drive client communication and collect the customer requirements, manage the expectations of the internal teams (dev, marketing, sales), and manage the process for client deliverables in order to reach launch dates. Work with clients to get insertion orders signed and collect the assets needed to run 3rd party creative for campaigns - tags, logins to 3rd party reporting system log-ins, 3rd party tracking tags, and anything else required for launch and management. As needed, work with finance and legal teams to resolve issues with the Ts and Cs (Terms and Conditions, e.g., payment terms, NDAs, etc.) relating to insertion orders. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the online advertising industry and best practices. *** Specific Requirements*** Employer will accept Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a marketing-related occupation. Travel less than 50% required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Experience must include: 1. account management in the digital advertising and search engine marketing space; 2. managing and optimizing strategic advertiser campaigns for performance ad networks; 3. assisting with troubleshooting and delivering on client initiatives; 4. creating, delivering, and articulating campaign overview analysis; 5. managing all aspects of the client relationship post-sales; 6. contributing to technical product advancements like new targeting features, new ad formats, and new product releases; and 7. managing a team of 2 account managers and leading the team to success.
