RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test hypotheses by exploring various billions of data points and sources

  • Leverage data in optimizing ad campaigns using algorithms and automation

  • Developing predictive models and optimization for huge datasets

  • Contributing algorithms for testing and implementing creative ideas

  • Research to discover new relevant data to innovate our ideas for sharing

  • Code in Python, Perl or Java to work with large data sets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exposure to data mining, machine learning, statistics, social network analysis or graph analysis

  • Knowledge of R, Weka, Mahout or SAS helpful for modeling

  • Familiarity with Hadoop (HDFS/Hive/Pig/Hbase) or other MapReduce paradigms is a plus

  • Studied: Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistics, Social network analysis, Distributed Computing

  • Intellectual bandwidth, analytical capacity, and comfort in solving product

  • MS / PhD major in Computer Science, Statistics, Ops Research, Math, Econ, or Engineering
