Human Resources Recruiting Specialist – Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Search and contact candidates on websites such as Monster and Workopolis, other social networks and available resources.
Conduct initial interview with candidates for pre-screening purposes
Set up interviews and testing dates for candidates and interviewers
Contact candidates to provide them with feedback as part of the interview process
Assist the Management team with any immediate needs
Update candidate tracking, consultants submitted to clients tracking and resume tracking sheets
Prepare and update weekly resource meeting materials
Follow up with Management with their To Do Lists
Coordinate technical testing and make sure they are marked and recorded
Assist with Administrative work such as drafting up contracts, offer letters, letters of understanding and employment letters
Create job descriptions for new internal roles
Assist Marketing with Annual Conference and Customer Appreciation Events
Assist with training events for consultants

Required Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience

Microsoft Office Suite
Previous experience searching job boards and social networks for qualified candidates
Bachelor’s degree
Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
