We are looking for a talented, high-energy team player to be part of our backend core engineering team developing Zscaler’s big data analytics platform. Each day Zscaler’s Cloud processes over 10 billion transactions with near-zero latency to instantly secure over 10 million users in 180+ countries. All transactions are logged in a compressed and indexed format and are available for real time reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate must enjoy tackling hard technical problems and have a passion for programming. 

  • BS/MS degree  (Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Strong C/Unix programming skills for high-performance systems
  • Strong analytical and algorithm design skills
  • Good understanding of distributed/parallel computing
  • Good experience with design and development of a database storage subsystem, parallel query processing, query optimization and reliability features
  • Experience in in-memory database with multi-core optimization
  • Experience with LLVM compilation
  • Experience with database kernel
