To keep up with our growth, we are seeking an Outside Sales Executive for our Print and Digital advertising suite of products. Valpak is looking for an energetic, self-motivated person to join our sales team to develop, retain and grow new business. We will train you to become a media sales professional with strong earning potential.
Prospect for new business by indentifying and qualifying leads generated from your in person and telephone cold-calling, networking, marketing and referrals.
Set appointments with prospective clients and business owners to learn about their business and determine their advertising and marketing needs.
Present products in a consultative manner with the goal to develop and implement effective marketing plans for print, digital and direct response programs.
Once a client base is established: manage, service and support existing clients while generating additional new business.
We are looking for:
Financially motivated, self starter who possesses a positive attitude with team oriented and personal goals.
Two years of proven, successful outside sales experience is preferred (but not necessary) with strong cold calling, listening and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task and work in a deadline driven, team oriented environment.
Understanding of digital media platforms and print advertising is a plus.
Local and National bonus and Incentive plans, I Pad's for all account executives, healthcare coverage, 401K plan and smart phone/auto allowance. A base salary of $25,000 - $35,000 plus Commission. Realistic first year compensation = $45,000-$55,000
