Have you ever cursed the day you noticed a dead pixel on your LCD screen? When a company refreshes their brand, do you tell everyone you know? ...and then precede to say why you love or hate it? You're counting down the days until Snow Leopard's released?
If you've answered 'yes' to any of these questions, we want to say "Hi". LivingSocial, the company that lets people catalog their interests and order them in those nifty Pick Your Five lists on Facebook, has an immediate opening for a Visual Design Intern.
Our perfect candidate...
- Knows their way around the Adobe CS tools (Mac user? Be still our hearts.)
- Can communicate their concepts and ideas effectively (both verbally and written)
- Has a kick-ass portfolio and lives to show it off
- Loves tackling new challenges and is able to find the not always readily apparent solutions
- Is able to consistently meet deadlines
- Is/was enrolled in a four year program to learn how to push pixels
Position Details
- On site at energetic startup in Washington, DC
- 20-40 hours a week as school schedule permits
- Compensation: $15/hr
- Digital portfolio required for consideration.
