The candidate will perform computer/network systems administration, analysis, and design.
The candidate will develop, maintain and support networks, disaster recovery, servers, firewalls, and computers as required by laboratories. Installs new applications as required.
The candidate will perform Information Assurance functions and documentation including but not limited to: DIACAP packages for system accreditations; Memorandum of Change (MOC) packages for Mission Planning Environment (MPE); vulnerability scanning using Government approved products; DADMS compliance for all IPT software products and components.
The candidate will have applied knowledge of, and skills in applying principles and methods for integrating information system components; performance tuning tools and techniques; and system diagnostic tools and fault identification techniques sufficient to install and maintain software and hardware, control current versions and future releases of application software, and document the physical configuration of an information system; optimize the functionality of networks and systems; and diagnose and recover failed systems.
The candidate will have applied Information Assurance knowledge in the areas of vulnerability scanning, POA&M development, software compliance, network and individual platform security.

The candidate will have applied knowledge using applications including Windows Server and desktop environments, SQL, PowerShell, and Microsoft Office products.

Minimum 5 years of experience working Information Assurance tasks.

Bachelors degree within the Information Systems or Information Technology fields of study.
8 years of applied Information Assurance related work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

IA Certification Requirements
Condition of employment - must have current CISSP at time of hire
Condition of employment - must be able to acquire a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must have US citizenship
