Search Marketing Specialist

The Search Marketing Specialist will work with the media sales community, in-house research departments, client and creative agencies to develop unique and strategically appropriate PPC approaches, including the exploration of venues (sites, creative technologies, etc.) that utilize emerging technologies pertinent to our clients' objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to Havas Media's knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference summaries, as well as maintain constant communications with traffic, production and creative departments within our clients' and partners' organizations. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Conducting PPC planning research using available tools
  • Developing PPC plans, recommendations and POVs in conjunction with Assistant
  • Conducting estimates, forecasts, and development of PPC campaigns
  • Oversee the issuing and updating insertion orders with Assistant
  • Quality control trafficking ad tags and creative using 3rd party ad server tools and bid managers
  • Analyzing campaign performance and recommend necessary optimizations
  • Presenting to clients, as appropriate
  • Helping train Assistant Planners
  • Resolving invoice and other related discrepancies
 
Requirements:
  • 1.5+ years of SEM related experience working in an agency environment
  • Must be experienced in on-time delivery of projects with multiple milestones
  • Experience managing multiple accounts successfully
  • Additional experience with online media is not mandatory, but desired
  • Ideal candidate will have specific expertise with performance based programs
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Must have Experience managing SEM campaigns through 3rd party bid management software such as Dart/DFA, Kenshoo, Omniture, or Atlas
  • Use of online measurement tools such as Comscore, Nielsen, or Hitwise
  • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and, decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment
