Research Account Director
The Research Director is a broad research role amongst various media types (online and offline). The Research Director will have heavy interaction with Havas Media planning teams as well as creative agency partners, and direct client contact.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with client and agency teams to identify, prioritize and execute research and analysis that will create actionable insights
  • Stewards Connections research, Havas Media proprietary methodology for identifying the most relevant and impactful channels for target consumers within the category context
  • Oversees consumer segmentation research and analysis via both custom and syndicated sources
  • Manages the deployment of Havas Media’s suite of proprietary Decision Support Systems – Spectrum, Fission, Wave, CenterStage
  • Executes primary research, both surveys and focus groups/interviews, as well as social media monitoring
Position Requirements:
  • Familiarity with data sources, including: MRI, Simmons, MMR, MARS, Nielsen, Arbitron, Comscore
  • Working knowledge of IMS planning/research software
  • Exposure to brand tracking surveys from companies such as Millward Brown, Ipsos, etc.
  • Experience developing consumer surveys
  • Ability to nimbly manage multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment of shifting priorities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to confidently present material to clients and colleagues
