Responsibilities
- Implement online ad campaigns
- Work with 3rd party ad tags, troubleshoot any issues if necessary
- Setup 3rd party and in-house creatives
- Proactively track issues including delivery discrepancies, campaign performance, updating sales team of their respective clients' campaigns, etc.
- Work closely with sales team by keeping them aware of all the campaign changes, issues if any, suggest optimizations to campaigns, etc.
- Send regular reports to the sales and other stakeholders regarding the campaigns, be able to run ad hoc reports when necessary
- Manage all creative and campaign changes when requested
- Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organization supported.
- Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.
- Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm.
Desired Skills & Experience Experience
- At least 2--3 years in ad trafficking, campaign setup and management in an internet media company (required)
- Strong background and experience primarily in DFP (required)
- Significant experience trafficking rich-media and display ads, text ads, etc. (required)
- BA/BS college degree (required)
- Must have an analytical background with a creative problem-solving mindset
- Knows how the whole campaign setup, trafficking, tracking and optimization flow works
- Experience in AdSense, AdX, Salesforce.com, comScore, etc. a plus
- Proven ability to solve technical issues regarding ad trafficking and campaign management
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, limited JavaScript is a plus
- Must be a team player, knows how to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be capable of meeting aggressive deadlines with competing demands
