Editorial Internship
Semester: Fall 2010
Location: West Hollywood, CA

We are seeking detail oriented candidates with a background/interest in online media/journalism. This internship is a perfect place to learn research, reporting and writing skills and to observe how a digital media website operates.

Responsibilities:
Learn how to research and report feature and news stories and how to quickly summarize new stories with senior editors. Partner with the senior photo and video teams to learn how to research and write captions for photo and video galleries. Learn how to react under deadlines and changing priorities while training alongside the bureau chief and editorial team.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a discerning eye for entertainment and fashion and are resourceful, responsible, and be able to learn quickly. Interest in entertainment and culture a must. Knowledge of Photoshop and computer savvy is a plus.

This is an unpaid internship. All applicants must be currently enrolled in school and receive college credit for the internship. Additionally, credit certification proof must be provided during the interview process.
