NICE Actimize is currently seeking an experienced Product Support Team Lead to join our dynamic and growing Product Support team in New York City.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide expert technical assistance to our customers. Coordinate with R&D/QA to solve technical issues
  • Manages the regional product support group for NICE Actimize
  • Provides technical assistance to employees and customers (liaise with R&D/QA to solve technical issues)

 

Qualifications

 

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong project management and\or team leadership skills are a must
  • Ability to manage trouble ticketing resolution process and escalations from customers and other team members
  • Experience with software support and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux or Windows operating systems
  • Must have experience in one of the following Databases: MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle or DB2
  • Experience with one of the following application servers: Tomcat, Weblogic and/or WebSphere
  • Excellent SQL skills  
  • Understanding of programming languages
  • Ability to write scripts in on one or more of the following languages: VB, C++, JavaScript
  • Development experience preferable in one or more of the following languages (C++, VB, Java, JavaScript, .Net, XML, XSL) is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, resourceful approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to establish sound working relationships with many diverse groups
