The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and managing National Breast Cancer Foundation's corporate telecommunications and network infrastructure. With a growing staff and expanded facilities, NBCF is looking for a self motivated problem solver who has exceptional customer service skills. The Network Administrator, who will be focused on client-side needs, must have excellent organization skills, diagnostics and problem solving abilities, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. This position is located at our headquarters in Frisco, TX. Duties
- Day-to-Day routine maintenance of workstations
- Upgrades/replacements of workstations
- Diagnosis of workstations
- NBCF employee support ticket issues
- Onboarding process/installs of new systems
- Online asset/software management (Usernames/Accounts)
- General phone issues
- New phone installations
- Client-side user procurement/setup
- Printer maintenance
- Windows/Mac troubleshooting
- Software installs (client-side, mobile, workstations)
- Daily system audits
- Application deployment
Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferably in telecommunications or a relevant certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in the development, implementation and support of voice and data systems required. Must have good working knowledge of telecommunications technologies including, but not limited to the following:
- Digital and telecommunication technologies, especially in Shoretel equipment
- WAN technologies (T1, DS3, MPLS)
- Operating Systems -Windows and Mac
Networking experience required.
